Many years ago I watched one of my social media accounts numbers decreased day by day me being educated as a trained worm I sit back to drink a cup of coffee every morning to learn and study the numbers go from thousands to double digits, it was amazing to see how the numbers actually worked to tell you the truth the numbers came and went the same way, meaning the numbers increases  from double digits to hundreds to thousands.. I continue to perform my Ventriloquist act with thousands or zero numbers on my social media account so I gather you under the fig tree to whisper that it’s all connected.. you look at social media and you see all those numbers millions and some even billions so you believe.

If you don’t put in the work there will be nothing accomplished, this means if you don’t practice and rehearsal and study you have nothing accomplished..no matter what is going on in your real life your Ventriloquism needs to be attended to..I am working on this message so that you understand the subject of this gathering under the fig tree, take five minutes to study out of your day, take five minutes to practice out of your day, put time aside for rehearsal and most importantly keep a notebook 📒 to write ideas and new material, now this should be a normal behavior for a Ventriloquist in showbusiness, if you’re at school or work or where ever you are this behavior should be normal, practice- write – rehearsal…this is your seeds as a Ventriloquist.. practice, rehearsal, write and yes study.

don’t scream from the roof top when your showbusiness gigs slow down or perhaps stop or yes your social media account numbers stop growing or decrease.. don’t you dare 😭 cry when your ticket sells drop lower.. don’t you worry when your telephone stop ringing for bookings trust me my phone ringing ringing and ringing for birthday party show bookings until my production company cancelled the birthday party shows performances, I shut it down sure it was a loss of money so you learn to count your losses then move forward, after shutting down the birthday party shows my Ventriloquist act went into the night club entertainment business this was a stress free career for me so don’t worry being a Ventriloquist your career will grow 🪴 with your seeds of practice – write – rehearsal, I made a lot of money as a children entertainer but as a night club entertainer I had freedom of expression..as a children entertainer there was plenty of work to tell you the truth it was too much work for me and to be honest I didn’t feel like a Ventriloquist anymore I felt like a babysitter 🐥🍼 so trust me when you see your numbers drop you might feel happy because when my numbers were high I had to put in more and more work, when I was performing in the comedy clubs the famous comedian would say all they needed was that one big hit and I said I just want to get my name on the club in lights they whispered to me things I will not mention about being a headliner at a comedy club but it has to do with just like when I was a children entertainer so I don’t know your Ventriloquist career dreams so I will not speak on it my job is to help you succeed so if you want to be a children entertainer there’s plenty of gigs available and if you want to be a comedy club headliner the possibilities are possible.

In adapting to a environment is one of the secret to a ventriloquist career, this means I went from children entertainer to night club entertainer to comedy clubs and that’s the reason for practice – rehearsal -writing and study.. let me carefully explain.. when I went into the comedy clubs my production company had to make a complete overhaul of my Ventriloquist act and when I went into the night clubs I had to start from scratch with writing material..so you say but but but look again children entertainer, night clubs and comedy clubs entertainers are not the same, you don’t get it do you? When the economy is slow or down that effect the audience, if the economy is not going good for the college students that effect the comedy clubs, if the family and children economics are not going good then that effect the children entertainer, as a children entertainer your funding doesn’t come from the children it comes from the parents and the adults and you must remember you are a novelty act so some audiences may choose to pay for a popular act over a novelty act keep that in mind unless you’re famous it would make you a popular novelty act yes a Ventriloquist act is a novelty act.

Writing and creating new ideas will prepare you for future opportunities for example a co-worker might want you to entertain at a party and if you have practiced- written- and rehearsal trust me that party will lead to another and another.. even Ventriloquists that have agents and managers don’t perform all the time, usually trying to sell your act or looking for bookings and calendar dates…my Ventriloquist act was with a management company I traveled a lot but I owned my own production company so I resign from the management entertainment company..

In this chit chat we study that there are different audiences for showbusiness if we can prepare for them then we can grow 🪴 with them…

Why did Jesus Christ curse the fig tree? because the fig tree didn’t do what it was normally supposed to do.
